As I see it, SimpleUniverse/Viewer are just convenience classes helping to
setup a Java3D environment easily. If you need more specialized setup, do it
yourself. In the end, it's always a composition of View/ViewPlatform.....
just with other relationships, depending on the need and flavor of the app.
I have the notion of 'Camera', 'Screen' and 'CameraMount', bc. this is how I
feel the 3D system has to be controllod.

Maybe you want to avoid the dependency of com.sun.util?
