Does anyone know how I can import an animation of a humanoid that was made
with maya into java3d? Are there somewhere loaders for animations in
maya-format, or 3ds, or…?

Many different issues here:

- File formats. Not all support animation information. Do you know what
format you are going to be using?

- Loaders. There are many different loaders available. Look here for
more details:

- Animation data: Do you know what form the animation data is in? Is it
just IK keyframes, or proper interpolated data? This can make a huge
difference as to what J3D support you are likely to get.
