Has anyone out there successfully used Rational Robot with Java 3D objects
for automated testing, where the Java 3D objects are actually recognized?
The problem I am having is Robot (v. 2002.05.20) is not recognizing Java 3D
(v 1.3 with either JDK 1.3.1_07 and JDK 1.4.1_01) objects as being separate
objects. In fact, it classifies all the objects as SunAwtCanvas. My guess
is that proxies are worthless since Robot only sees one object.
I also understand there is RobotJ, which should work better, especially
with JDK 1.4, but we don't have it. However, information on either product
used in testing Java 3D objects with any version of the JDK would be greatly
appreciated.
