I downloaded some x3d files from the web to test my program, I am wondering if they caused the errors since if I use the test.wrl which comes with Xj3D LoaderDemo, the error won't occur,

Right here. There must be a profile attribute specified as part of the X3D element. I'm not sure where you are getting the files from, but they're non-compliant.
