Thanks for the same. However, i think "-Dj3d.usecombiners" has a default value of false in J3D 1.3.

Are you running that on linux? I remember a similar thing: moving the camera around enabled/disabled texture or something like that. Was solved using -Dj3d.usecombiners=false but I think with newer version the problem is gone (i no longer use the param and all works).
