I'm not sure yet, Zak, but I think maybe you want some sample code involving collision detection? ;-)
Have you looked at TickTockCollision? This is one of the demos that comes with java3d. On my machine it's at C:\lib\java\j2sdk1.4.1_03\demo\java3d\TickTockCollision\TickTockCollision_plugin.html I.e. under the Java SDK folder. The source code is there with it. Or are you looking specifically for collision between the viewer and an object? I'm not familiar with the "java3d.org navigation capabilities" so maybe I'm missing something. Viewer/Object Collision Detection Am I persistant, or what?...... Anyway, Is anyone using the j3d.org navigation capabilities with collision detection implemented? If so, can someone send me a working demo that shows the collision detection working? I have tried all the demos included with the j3d.org package, and none of them use the collision detection feature. Also, i have tried to make the collision detection work, but have failed.
