This bug has been around since Sept 2002 and is still in the final release of 1.3.1 (and the beta release for Linux). The test case recreates the bug. Directions for the test case are included in the file header. Is there any chance of seeing this bug fixed and a new point release anytime soon? This bug is a show stopper since it prevents geometry sorting with transparency.
