I would like to retrieve the total illumination at any given point in the scene, whether on a vertex or in thin air
something like Branchgroup.getLight(Vector3D);
Does this exist anywhere or can anyone provide me hints on how to do that (equations given light sources) ? Or may be the Java3D spec can be enhanced ?
