What a bad shameless commercial plug.... looks like you were looking for a way to insert an advert about your thing.. Whatever the reasons you did that API over J3D seems bad to me, and a big unnecessary burden. Scenegraph is perfectly suited for lots of people, maybe not you, but that certainly is not a reason for 'the failure'. There are tons of successful scenegraph APIs around, you know.... I strongly disagree with point most of your points.
