I will try to help again and I hope to succeed this time.

 First, test the cube class you created in a simple universe. Create a simpleuniverse object and then add to it the branch group . this branch group which contains the cube. The cube is a Shap3d object which contains geometry and appearance.I suppose you were successful creating the geometry.

Check the object ,is it away from the viewing volume. If it is, try to translate the object to the origin (0,0,0).
 Maybe the object is too big such that when viewed, the viewer will inside the object and of course will see nothing.

you can scale down the object or
you can try to move the view with this:
    OrbitBehavior orbit = new OrbitBehavior( canvas3D, OrbitBehavior.REVERSE_ALL);
    orbit.setSchedulingBounds(bounds);
    viewingPlatform.setViewPlatformBehavior(orbit);

you can move the view with the mouse's three buttons.

tell me the result
