My application is almost similar as described by you! "if you need to do sectioning visualisation, like a CAD package where you want to remove the front half of, say, an engine, to see the internals. It is not good for showing just a piece of one model." But I don't have sample code for Model Clip, actually its available in the CD ROM which comes with the book "Java3D API specification". I have already got othere few books except this. It will be great help if some one from the group can send me the sample code to use the Model clip! With best regards.
