Hi,

First try running java with the option -Xmx256m which will give you a heap size of 256MB. This might not solve your problem. There is a memory haemorrhage in Java3D which is dealt with in the following discussions:

http://archives.java.sun.com/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0306&L=java3d-interest&F=&S=&P=75879

and further in:

http://www.javadesktop.org/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=55&threadID=4341&messageID=25946#25946 where it is claimed that the problem is fixed. So far I have been unable to verify this. Search that forum for “memory leak”.

Regards

Mike
