Hello!
Thanks for your reply!

My out put from glxgears was:
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual

Seems like a problem to me, but perhaps you can tell me what?

My hardware is:
Motehrboard ASUS P3B-F
Graficcard Nvidia Riva TNT
Screen Multisync LCD 1500M

I guess that is all that may be interesting?

So if any one got an idea whats wrong please tell me!

Best regards
Fredrik

That looks like a problem with mandrake, and not with java3d. Just for
testing: run "glxgears". (It's a stupid little benchmark) If you get <1000
fps something with glx or drm/dri is wrong.

The important files are /etc/X11/XF86Config and /var/log/XFree.0.log and
the
output of glxinfo. If don't know that to do post, them here (and give us a
hint about the hardware you are using, like the number of monitors...)
