I need to extract polygon and vertex information from Java3D primitives suchany reason why you need java3d for doing the tesselation job ? i did quite well
as box and sphere. I need it for some polygon soup based collision
detection.... and I'd rather not approximate those objects myself.Doesn't quite seem obvious how to do this.... any tips?

experiences with OpenGL Optimizer from SGI. OpenGL Optimizer has a very nice
representation of amthematical objects and has very good tesselation properties.
