If it helps : I have Asus 3000 Nvidia RIVA 4MB card with Asus OpenGL driver, I have K6-300, 64MB, jdk1.2 and java3d 1.1 OpenGL, SP4 of NT. I have started two instances of mentioned FourByFour demos ( I mean two separate JVMs, HotSpot 1.0 fcs). I do not observe any crushing . Sometimes it slows down for a moment , but I could play both games to the end. I have never succeeded to crush NT using Java .
