Hi andrea!
Java3D support its own persistency as extension of the
java2 platform. But if you need to work with VRML
files, have a look to:

http://www.vrml.org/WorkingGroups/vrml-java3d/

You should find examples of vrml player in java3D, and
stuff that you need.
