Hi,

I've got a general question about the future of SDK and Java3D. Possibly
somebody here have some information on the topic. The answer from the
guys from SUN would be especially appreciated.
So, the question is whether Java3D would be included in future released
of _SDK_. As far as i remember Java2D was an independent library prior
to Java 2 Platform release. Now it's a part of SDK and what is much more
important it's shipped together with JRE. So, i wonder whether Java3D
library would be included in future releases of SDK/JRE.
-------
Another question concerns running Java3D application under WindowsNT4.x
platforms. As far as i remember it has been already discussed a couple
of weeks ago, but i unfortunatelly i missed the outcome: is it possible
nowadays or not after all? A friend of mine installed DirectX5.0 under
WinNT, but got an error saying that not all the libraries of DirectX are
found. Is there DirectX6.x under WindowsNT?

And BTW, is hardware acceleration possible in "window" mode under
DirectX? Or it's possible in fullscreen mode only? If this depends on
video card, then what video card accelerates rendering in 'window' mode
(i'm especially interested in Diamond Viper 550/770)?

Thank u for your time. U make a great deal helping me and i appreciate
your answer a lot.
vladimir
