Without getting into details all I can say it that it wasn't. After two years of negotiations, no one, Sun nor Devoxx are happy that its ended this way.

Fact is, they quickly changed from javoxx to devoox because they weren't interested in another protracted round of negotiations. JavaZone on the other hand, has much fewer aspirations than Javapolis did. It is my understanding that the agreement has now been inked.
