I finally bit the bullet and upgraded to 64 bit Linux. I'm currently
using the 64 bit Sun JDK and get very occasional hangs in Intellij
IDEA and Jetty. Anyhow, I wrote about my upgrade here with links to
some resources for anyone else considering making the move to 64 bit
