Hi Casper

I think the only thing I really want to run that uses silverlight
right now is the NetFlix on-demand application, which requires the new
Silverlight 2.0. Again it comes down to the fact that it is lagging at
least 1 full release behind the .NET stuff and I suspect much of the
new cool stuff will be done in Silverlight 2.0. I know I could run
some demos in moonlight, but I really want to be able to run a few
sites in particular and I can't do that for the forseeable
future. .NET continues to push Windows and MacOSX support as "cross
platform", leaving us Linux users in the cold - meanwhile Hulu and
Joost, using Flash, demonstrate that it can be done truly cross
platform right now. Perhaps JavaFX will get there soon too - certainly
it will work on Linux at least. :-(

I want my netflix streaming...

Cheers

Dick
