That site is great, certainly an advanced flash application created by
3d artists.

Currently, from my impressions, JavaFX currently does target
designers, the entire "production suite" is aimed at designers and
developers working together, although i'll agree that the current
demonstrations are a bit lacking in body (although a great starting
block to build on).

I have hopes that more and more JavaFX sample sites and apps will come
along, and we will see more and more potential with the JavaFX
platform. The nice thing about the production suite is that it keeps
designers in Photoshop/Illustrator, not requiring them to learn a new
application, like how Microsoft have done their Expression Blend
Studio/Visual Studio interactions.
