If you mean a compiler that compiles to JavaScript, we already have GWT. I'm a
big fan, but it doesn't seem like it's taken over the world just yet. If you
mean a compiler that compiles from JavaScript, if I'm not mistaken we're headed
to a world of JavaScript JIT on all major browsers very soon.
