Additionally (I forgot to mention) I have used Violet UML for a no- frills 'drawing' package for UML... It covers use-cases, class diagrams and state diagrams, copies to clipboard, export to file, but no fancy features!
I actually like it though, so I thought it was worth adding to the mix. Rob.
