I just did a Google search for "PhoneME Android" to see if there was any official Java ME port for the Google Android OS, and this came up:
http://www.linkedin.com/answers/technology/wireless/TCH_WIR/369732-10664383 Several questions come to mind: #1) Shouldn't Sun/Oracle be the first to do an official JVM for Android? Any words about this? #2) What is this guy whom did the "port" trying to achieve? Sell his "creation"? Isn't the source code open to begin with?. Shouldn't he have to release his modified sources?. What's the point? Sorry I must be missing something. In any case, I thought about posting this here so those interested in the Android platform might give me some clues about the status of Java ME on Android.
