Did anyone experience heavy memory usage when wrapping a jboss 4.x into a service ?
We're currently scratching our heads about the service process using +1GB while the heap has been configured to max 512mb. The service eats all memory it can get. After a while paging becomes heavy as it uses more and more virtual memory. In its final death throes the garbage collector is using 100% CPU. The quick solution is power off the server and reboot. The long is to patiently wait until the remote desktop appears, the services tools comes up to restart the service.
