FYI, One of the announcements this year was the introduction of a subscription model for early access to talks from Devoxx 2009. If you are willing to wait 6 months, all the talks will be available for free in that timeframe. If you want to access them right away, you can buy a 6 month subscription for 49 Euros which was $75 dollars when I purchased it earlier today at the current US exchange rate. There are not any Devoxx 2009 talks available just yet, but, I expect most of the talks from this year to be available within 2-4 weeks from now. The Devoxx "space" with subscribe link at bottom of page is: http://devoxx.parleys.com When you do get access to the talks from this year, I highly recommend the keynote by Robert "Uncle Bob" Martin. It was not a Java technical talk, but, it was very entertaining and quite inspirational. In my opinion, every programmer no matter what language they prefer needs to see that talk.
