Here's the thing, development managers are always looking for the next
"silver bullet" coming down the pike to help with their infinite
requirement and application backlog. Show a DnD application builder to
a manager and they'll drop cash right there, in the hope that they can
get more done with fewer and/or less skilled developers. This is why
you will always see "CRUD Builders" having a lot of traction in the
enterprise. This is a huge reason .Net and now Flex has a foothold at
my shop, as Visual Studio and Flex Builder (or whatever they're
calling it now) are great demoware.
