> I'd really like one with A9 instead though. Yeah that's next gen, but on current manufacturing process it uses significant more power than the A8 though - even Apple's upcoming flexiPad is using an A8. As far as I can tell, the A9 can only be found in set-top boxes etc.

After owning a phone sold directly by Google with unlocked boot-loader and direct OTA's, I'm not ever going to buy from a 3'rd tier again.
