I don't think the Posse themselves have ever justified all this extraneous Apple talk as filler because not much is happening in the Java space - someone on here said that.
In fact, if anything, they always seem to run out of time (could be the extras!). What would really help fill a podcast though is user feedback! If Dick asked, I'm sure we'd all come up with non-Apple talking points. Would a 20-30 minute, focused, succinct podcast be so bad people? I've got a lot of other podcasts to get through and JavaPosse is definitely the longest and can't help sighing when I see an episode go over an hour. BTW, i'm all for more Scala/Clojure/Android - anything JVM related.
