The little pin and piece of paper are fun mementos, but I doubt you'll
need to bring them anywhere to prove your cert status. There's a
process online to email a verification of your cert status to any
person you want. The process is described here:

The only time I've needed to prove my status was when I joined a
LinkedIn group that required proof of certification at
http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=85485

If I want to impress someone with my credentials, I prefer the piece
of paper I got at the testing center, which shows my actual score. The
test is pass/fail and some people pass without getting a high
percentage right.
