<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nobel_laureates_by_country>I can see that the UK has 117 laureates, and the US has 320 laureates Giving the US roughly 2.7 times as many laureates as the UK Furthermore, from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_population I can see that the size of the UK population is 62,041,708 and for the US is 310,020,000 Giving the US a population roughly 5 times as large as the UK Or calculated as laureates per capita UK: 117/62041708 = 1.89*10^-6 US: 320/310020000 = 1.03*10^-6 So there's a higher percentage of Nobel laureates from the UK than from the US. Please check you facts before posting such claims, and cite your sources if possible.
