I totally agree with you. They could make JavaFx a general purpose
programming language - it has all the elements of a java.next. Scala looks
like a brilliant language but I suspect that java programmers looking for
refuge would better identify with JavaFx. I have no idea why Sun didn't
position JavaFx that way to begin with.
