Did my point regarding how there was initially no software patents have any
bearing to your thought?

I will simply re-ask if you think the "clone" market would have thrived with
as much innovation as it had, were it disallowed due to patent protection.


This is particularly amusing, as it seems Apple this time around has
successfully found a way to protect "look and feel."
