Splendid! At Coventry and Wolverhampton universities Python with the turtle module is making great strides as a platform for teaching programming and algorithms. At UCL Groovy is being used with an small library for doing maze running. The pedagogy is in making the algorithm and practice of programming simple and yet fun with a visual feedback element. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:[email protected] 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: [email protected] London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
