I wasn't exactly thrilled to see Ubuntu dropping Gnome for its Unity
shell as the primary way for interacting with Ubuntu Linux (though do
understand its intended to "consumerize" Linux to a wider audience
than just geeks).

I do very much applaud this move to drop X-Windows and adoption of
OpenGL, though:
