I've installed Unity as my default desktop manager since a couple of
days. It's not bad at all, even though it's not enough for a complete
"consumerisation" (in particular, I don't understand why they insist in
sticking with their social colours - orange / brown / beige - in the
default look and feel... perhaps I'm too oriented to neutral / graphite
colours, but I find them really bad).
Moving away from X11 is a good thing, but I don't understand what all
the implications of Wayland are - especially for what concerns video
drivers. In any case, it sounds as a long road to go.
