It's mostly refinements in Gingerbread (keyboard, copy & paste, UI), or so it seems. Still, this is good for Android users (if and when they actually get Gingerbread ;-). The only headline feature seems to be Near-Field Communication (think: paying with your phone by holding it up to a terminal) which will take some time to take off. There doesn't appear to be a video call app that I saw mentioned in Gingerbread speculation.
