Except, while Android poses a genuine threat, J2ME is hardly any.
Apple seems very nit picky, considering Mediaworld has other gadget
and tech magazines which are accepted without problems (apart from the
2-3 week lag). This is apparently how Apple conducted themself:
“You know… your magazine,” replied the Apple rep, who identified
himself only as Richard. “It’s just about Android…. we can’t have that
in our App Store.”
