VB is used (probably quite validly) as a bullshit filter where I work. If someone says "it would take me 2 weeks to write that" someone will, correctly, pipe up with "it would take Kev 20 minutes to do it in VB".
I've never really used it, but spent most of my childhood on BASIC (Spectrum 48K, Commodore 64, AMOS, Blitz Basic 2, MS QuickBasic) and and and and and and I'm perfectly fine. 2010/12/14 Cédric Beust ♔ <[email protected]>: > > > On Tue, Dec 14, 2010 at 12:17 PM, Kevin Wright <[email protected]> > wrote: >>> >> >> It takes all sorts to make the world go round, it's quite amazing what >> some people find enjoyable. >> A typical VB user, experiencing contentment at one of his favourite >> pastimes: http://www.alicia-logic.com/capsimages01/ls2_114BillMurray.jpg > > I don't know about you but I very much enjoyed my time with Basic.
