It seems reasonable to me that there is a high level of interest in
new operating systems in comparison to established OSes.  It doesn't
mean that that interest will translate into anything though.

Not entirely worthless.  It's got people linking to their website,
which wouldn't have happened if the result had been "iPhone still in
the lead".

I almost agree, except that I think that there will be only one clear
winner - Apple - and one second place - Android.

I don't that WP7 is too late, it's too early to say how successful it
will be.  It depends on how well Microsoft handle things (and since
the Windows Vista debacle, they've generally handled things pretty
well).  The others will survive for the time being.
