We've been struggling with a couple issues in NetBeans for some months now (mostly on OS X) and the issues seemed to start after 1.6.21 was updated.
I just downloaded and installed the preview of Java 1.6.23 from the Apple (Developer) site. It seems to have corrected some things nicely one of which is described here: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=187697 In the interest of full disclosure, we have seen similar NetBeans problems on Windows and Linux with Sun/Oracle Java versions. I can't (yet) say all is well but after so much (relatively) negative things about Apple/Java/Oracle, save the OpenJDK stuff, it is nice to see this release. I do recall Joe giving credit to the Apple Java guys in the past and despite whatever politics are involved, there must (still) be a pretty good relationship between Java folks at both companies. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
