Three horse race now? Let's not call that until we get there. Some trite observations:
The market responded to this news.... by dropping Nokia down 18%. Nokia's workforce responded to this news.... by staging a mass walkout. As someone I can't recall offhand said: "Two turkeys don't make an eagle". This *MIGHT* turn Nokia and Microsoft as distant also-rans into a contender. Maybe. If they release the phones and the market buys them, *and starts using them as an actual smartphone*, I'll call them a horse. Until then, I'll continue to call them 2 lame ducks.
