>From my observations, people who learn and use more than one programming language are better programmers than those who don't. Perhaps it's just that better programmers are more likely to learn more than one programming language, or perhaps learning other languages makes them into better programmers. I don't know which is the cause and which is the effect, but it's a very strong correlation.
