I guess some might feel Slashdot's objectivity is in dispute, but there are

The short of it: No actual copyright owners on any header files mentioned 
anything about suing google. It's an ex-microsoft lawyer who noticed that 
there _might_ be cause for such owners to sue google, and it was Florian 
Mueller, whose credibility as objective has already been blown by earlier 
false allegations that Android contained a 'smoking gun' copyright violation 
vs. Oracle, is the one that spread this news far and wide.
