::facepalm:: The mind boggles at how idiotic sony's actions are of late. I'm perfectly willing to entertain the thought that legally speaking mono has better cards, at least superficially, than anything with the letter J in it anywhere, but, you don't put your eggs in the basket woven by your only direct competitor in your patch of the ocean, that's just beyond stupid.
Fortunately at least the Vita is DOA. Nintendo has a proven track record holding on to whatever passes for 'portable gamer', and the iPhone and android itself are bollocksing that market up anyhow. So that leaves a sony spin on android which is, I presume, similarly doomed to fail, so then there's just PS3 dev. I'm guessing hobbyists that do want to develop for this platform want to develop directly on the raw iron. Durdling a few things together with a what must be very crappy API if it can be cross-compiled to Vita, PS3, and Android can't be all that exciting, but, maybe I don't have my finger on the pulse of the hobbyists, always an option. Colour me unphased for now. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The Java Posse" group.
