An OpenOffice file is a proprietary formated file for the Open Office
productivity suite. Open Office is a free open source office suite of
applications (similar to MS Office). Generally, it can open MS Office
documents (except docx files). You can download it from www.openoffice.org.
If you do not want to load Open Office onto your computer, then you can just
open the PDF version of the lessons - that's what I do.
