Heed to the advice from Louis. The best method to learn a language is by
doing it. Where do you face problem? In designing algorithm or with syntax?
You can refer to tutorials on sun.com.. they have compiled wonderful
tutorials. You could also start with *Java for dummies* book. I personally
like it.
