Hi, Is this your first time on programming or have you experienced other languages? Repeating what others have said: you really should do 2 things: 1 - Find a book that works for you. "Thinking in Java" is a pretty good one, which is online and is free. O'Reilly also have really good books. 2 - Develop your own little programs or applications as you progress. Get creative!
