Nike has a javelin line with at least 3 shoes last time i checked. They range
from around $30 then $45 with the ritziest being $90 or so. I own the $45
pair and aside from one spike de-threading i've never had a serious problem
with them in the year and a half i've had them. I know Adidas and Reebok also
make javelin cleats but I don't really have any experience with those,
although the adidas one is a hightop and is designed for ankle support.
My nike zoom javelin shoes were a GIANT improvement over the football cleats i
was using when i started. They are less bulky and offer a wider range of
compatible spikes. This is a great help when throwing on hard surfaces. Hope
that helps.
