When I said I throw at a 40 degree angle, I didn't mean that I stood up
straight
and tilted the javelin back. On my drawback, the Javelin is relatively
parallel to
my arms and shoulder, but when I throw, I block and lean back and then
explode forwards,
to make sure that every muscle in my body is being used as much as possible
in aiding the flight of the javelin. I've watched myself on tape and after
all is said
and done, my javelin is realeased at something close to a 40 degree angle.
